I don’t know what has happened, I just didn’t feel like writing for a while. Um… I’m still on Void, I tried to switch many times to Artix and once to Devuan. Which both failed miserably to please my needs, I’m not asking for much dang it. I found more than every package I need on Alpine Linux except for Glibc, I mean I’m no huge fine I’m perfectly fine with using MUSL except… I really don’t wanna deal with more errors in my terminal just because I’m not using Glibc, I already have plenty of those. I never talked about Devuan before and even know I don’t exactly understand what went wrong when I used it, the display manager kept on ignoring my startup files and no matter how much I tried to fix that it didn’t work. Not only that I remember having many random issues with various packages mostly because they were very out of date and required manual compiling the latest versions which was annoying except I had to compile most of those packages anyway since we don’t have them on Void, but even then some of those packages required up to date dependencies which as you can guess weren’t access-able as easily as I needed them to be so I just reinstalled Void and yeah I still hate ho comfy it has become.
I coded a bit more this past few days in Rust which allowed to me to learn more about it, it didn’t learn much but I’m suck a bit less then how I used to before, I still don’t get the basics at all I’m just playing with code from the docs as if it was Lego pieces, I lost hope in using AI for Rust simply because it’s srsly out of date most of the time when it comes to crates.
What else, I expected myself to ramble a lot more giving the time I had away from this blog but… This is really all I have for today so thank so much for reading this, see you in the next one. Farewell!
Seth.
