Damn, am I enjoying this, Void Linux and suckless software. Oh God, how could this possibly be any better. So the thing is, my previous rice of dwm was messing a few things up, like the actual full-screen patch, and it had some patches that I didn’t really need, like the alpha one, which was really stupid since I only want my terminal to be transparent. And yes, I moved fully to kitty, and my decision is final this time. I had to make sure whether I really don’t want the st terminal because it lacked features that I needed or I just had to spend some time to get used to how minimal it is… and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever use it again. For me, I’m really fine with having a bloated terminal for the same reason I’m okay with not using surf to browse the web. Like, I spend a lot of time in these two apps (web browser, terminal), so I prefer to have them a little bit fancier since I wouldn’t really notice the difference… and this is my opinion for now, since I feel like I will move fully to surf whenever I get the chance to do so. Also, I managed to fix cmus. It turned out I was missing a few packages, and once I installed them, everything was as good as it always was. I made a dashboard for cmus, and now I can play music like a pro, lol.
I’ll have the rice uploaded soon on my GitLab, and hopefully, that soon wouldn’t take so long. I want to keep this very pretty, kinda black and white theme for dwm and the other golden one with Eve’s wallpaper for i3. So, this can be my minimal rice, and I can bloat the other one with animations and shit. I just hope I’ll manage to ignore this hyperland trend because I really don’t need another ricing nightmare, especially not now.
